Nos Calan Gaeaf - A Winter's Eve Schola II

With Pennsic University behind us, winter draws near.  Settmour Swamp turns to learning new skills to keep our passions bright!  Join us for a day of classes in a myriad of disciplines.  Classes will include a needlework track, an event management track, and much more!

To sustain body as well as mind, there will be coffee and tea service in the morning, and a hearty dayboard in the afternoon.  We invite attendees to bring potluck baked goods or snacks for elevenses.

If you are interested in teaching a class, please fill out the form below (listed as the event website) for EACH of the classes you propose.  Class periods are 50 minutes, but if you would like to hold a longer hands-on class, we have limited capacity for that.  Outdoor space is also available for messy hands-on activities.  The site is dry; if you are interested in teaching a brewing class, please contact the event stewards to discuss.

To aid in fostering open and respectful academic discourse, please review the Schola Code of Conduct:  https://docs.google.com/document/d/1m3vPv8jBjNhqnyELtTK5pkgF3oQ1H-lyvag0Js20WbM/edit?usp=sharing

The site is all on one floor, but there a small step from the driveway into the front door.  There is a long hallway between several of the class spaces, and two class spaces require passing through other class spaces.  Outdoor space is available for gathering if the weather is fine.

Limited wifi will be available on site.  It will only work in the main hall, the front foyer, and the kitchen, so please plan accordingly.

We welcome all volunteers to help us put away tables and chairs at the end of the day.  There are also many places to dine near the site.  Madison is a busy town center, however, and we recommend making reservations for your party.

Site Opens: 9:30 am
Site Closes: 6:00 pm
