Feast of Fools & Shire Thrown Weapons Championship *Because What Could Possibly Go Wrong?
Hear ye, hear ye, and hear again (in case ye weren’t paying attention the first two times):
The Shire of Mountain Freehold proudly presents a day of Throwing Sharp Objects, and eating questionable potluck dishes, and bidding on items you absolutely don’t need—all in honor of the Feast of Fools!
Come test your skill, your bravery, and your ability not to fling an axe directly into the ground!
Compete for glory in:
* Knives (pointy)
* Axes (also pointy)
* Spears (long and pointy)
Awards shall be bestowed for:
* Best Knife Score
* Best Axe Score
* Best Spear Score
AND, for the chosen hero among heroes:
* Overall Shire Thrown Weapons Champion
*(The title comes with bragging rights, admiration, and possibly very confused geese.)*
The event is donation‑only, so give what you can—coins, pastries, spare socks—whatever pleases the Fools.
Feast of Fools Hijinks
Expect nonsense.
Expect silliness.
Expect rules that may or may not apply depending on which Fool you ask.
Bonus: Random acts of tomfoolery are strongly encouraged and mildly rewarded.
The Potluck of Peril
Bring a dish to share!
Medieval, modern, or something suspiciously “experimental”—all are welcome.
No one will judge… out loud...(who are we kidding, there will be judgment!)
The Auction of Oddities
Marvel at items both delightful and ridiculous!
Bid bravely!
Bid boldly!
Bid more than you planned to because someone else smirked at you!
