Dorstad Village is located at the beautiful Camp Haiastan, in Franklin MA. The site offers buildings that include cabins, feast hall, activity locations, and bathrooms with showers (On demand hot water!) It is also as ADA compliant as a wilderness camp can be with roads, ramps, and paths, to all locations. The site is easily accessible by highway and is within a 15-minute drive from Hotels, Banks, Restaurants, Grocery and Liquor stores! Yes, the site is discreetly damp. Please keep beverages to period drinkware and do not leave cans, bottles, or other trash around site. No yelling, “Who wants Whiskey!?!” and remember to drink responsibly or you will be asked to leave site.
Cabins are furnished with bunk beds and can sleep up to four, eight, or twelve people depending on the cabin. They do have power outlets, but camp has set the expectation that only cell phones and medical devices are to be plugged in. The camp does not allow heaters, coffee makers, or other electronics that draw power outside of medically needed devices in the cabins. Food and smoking/vapes of any kind are not allowed in the cabins as well. Cabin rentals will be reservation only and non-refundable but may be transferred to another preregistered guest. There is also limited tent space with preregistration required, there is no extra charge for tent camping.

Cabins
The price is for the cabin for the weekend, Friday and Saturday nights (you will not be able to reserve a cabin for just one night), not per person staying in the cabin. Only one person needs to pre-register for the cabin and can fill the rest of the beds with friends or family. Cabins are non-refundable but if you are not able to make the event the cabin can be transferred to another preregistered guest. If the reservation for a cabin needs to be changed, please email Kadlin Knutr at 302240@members.eastkingdom.org with the updates BEFORE the event.
If you are reserving a cabin and plan to pay by mailed check, please also email Kadlin with your reservation details. This helps ensure that your cabin is held while your payment is in transit. Because cabin space is limited, the Barony cannot guarantee reservations that are sent only by mail. If cabins fill before your check arrives and no email reservation has been received, we may be unable to accommodate your request.
Single Bunks
Limited number of Single Bunks are available for $25/bed for the weekend. This will be a shared Co-ed space.
A NOTE ON CABINS - We are committed to keeping costs as affordable as possible for everyone attending. With that in mind, if you choose to reserve a cabin, we encourage you to fill all the spaces if possible, as the number of available cabins are limited. Please also note that cabin accommodations are offered at the camp's direct rate, with no markup added.
Why are we doing this? Because our goal is to make the most of every available space and create the kind of shared experience and camaraderie that made the SCA such a meaningful part of so many of our lives.
Please list your cabin preference on the PayPal Survey when you go to complete it. Any questions about cabins please reach out to Kadlin Knutr at 302240@members.eastkingdom.org
