Event details
Yule is the time for taking time with your chosen family, remembering the lost, and thinking of new beginnings! Come with a dish you wish to share, friendship in your heart, and the feelings of the recently passed holidays.
As implied, the feast is potluck; period dishes are encouraged, but not required.
There will be space to fight if there are marshals on-site, but the shire will not have any martial activities planned.
There will be a traditional SCA "Yankee Swap" gift exchange, bring a gift if you can, but not expected.

Directions:
From the North: Take I-89 Exit 7, follow Route 62 to the end. Turn right into Barre, follow 62 all the way to the end of the road, turn right onto Main St, follow to the square and bear left at the Y intersection, going straight through the light onto Washington St. Climb the hill to the Left Turn onto Academy St at the Historical Society (looks like a castle). Street parking only. Masonic Temple is on the left. The entrance is the large door on the side, NOT the front door behind the pillars.
From the south: Take I-89 North to Exit 6, Follow to the end. Turn Left onto South Main St and follow to 5 way intersection. Turn slightly right onto Hill St, then follow until you hit the next light. Turn sharp left onto Washington St and follow about a quarter mile until you see the Historical Society (again, big castle) on the right. Take the Right turn onto Academy St. Masonic Temple is still on the left, the entrance door is still on the side.
