Her Majesty, ever delighting in displays of skill and chivalry, doth summon all noble fencers, those whose blades are keen and whose spirits are bold, to vie for honor and the coveted title of Queen’s Rapier Champion. Let none forget the weighty task of winning Her Majesty’s favor and proving oneself worthy of such a high distinction.
Prepare thy finest rapiers, sharpen thy wits, and don thy most honorable attire!
Arrival of Combatants: All valiant fencers intending to partake in this noble endeavor shall present themselves on the tourney grounds by the hour of 11am.
The Lists: The lists shall be opened shortly thereafter, and combat will commence with all due ceremony and pageantry.
By the grace of our most beauteous Queen Kallista, all are bid to gather for a midday repast in her honor. The Honorable Lady Deirdre doth graciously provide a Sideboard, prepared in the hearty and humble fashion of the Kievan Rus of the eleventh century, with much feasting promised.
Prithee join us, and make merry in the presence of our sovereign. The full bill of fare shall be made known in due course. For those who must know of the makings due to bodily need, an accounting of all manner of ingredients may be had upon demand.
Let this proclamation serve as an invitation to all valiant swordsmen, as well as to the esteemed populace who shall bear witness to this magnificent spectacle!
Come one, come all, and rejoice in the skill, honor, and pageantry of the Queen’s Rapier Tournament!
9:00 AM – Site Opens
10:30 AM: Inspections Completed, Presentation of Combatant Couples to their Majesties
11:00 AM – Rapier Tournament begins
12:00 PM – Break for Lunch
1:00 PM Rapier tournament concludes
3:00 PM: Court
6:00 PM: Site Closes
Times are flexible depending on how the tournament process and upon the wishes of their Majesties
