We invite you to join us for our twenty ninth Panteria this May anno societatis LXI in our Shire of Panther Vale.
Friends and family all are welcome to join in games and sport, enjoy the hospitality of our feast hall and firesides, and participate in education and the arts and sciences of the Glorious East.

Championship information:
The Earl Horic Memorial Tournament
(East Kingdom Rattan Championships)
Unto the Chivalry and the Populace of the East Kingdom does Arne Ulrichsson, King’s Champion by Right of Arms, send greetings. The time approaches when I must lay down the baldric, and in keeping with the duty of my station, a tournament to determine my successor as King’s Champion will be held at Panteria, Saturday May 23rd.
Muster will be after morning court, lists will close at 11:30 with a hard start by 12pm.
Therefore, I do issue a call to the field. Let all Knights, Masters of Arms, Squires, and all armored combatants in good standing within the East come forth to test their prowess, their endurance, and their chivalry.
Format of the Tournament
Round Robin Pools Combatants: shall be divided into round robin pool to determine the top 16
Round of Sixteen (Double Elimination)
The top sixteen combatants shall advance into a double elimination. Each pairing in the 16 will be fought best of 3 rounds.
Semi-Finals
The semi-finals shall be fought:
Combatant’s choice of weapons
Best of three passes
The undefeated combatant (from the winner’s list) need win but a single bout to advance
The Finals
Best of five passes
Rotating, non-repeating forms
The first pass shall be fought with great swords
The winner of this contest will serve as King’s Champion of the East for a term of 1 year.
The Queen’s Champion will be chosen at the conclusion of the tournament and will serve for a term of 1 year.
Let all who would vie for this honor present themselves ready in arms and spirit.
Let the field be one of valor, courtesy, and noble contest.

Directions:
From Canada: Take your best route toward Stanstead, QC. Continue through the border on I-91 south. Stay on 91 south to exit 14 Thetford. At the end of the ramp, take a right toward Thetford Hill/ Thetford Center. Go past the Fire Department (on your left). As you go down the hill toward Thetford Center, Camp Farnsworth Road is on your right.
Alternate Route: Make your way to 133 toward Vermont. Cross the border and stay on I-89 South until the I-91 junction. Take the exit for I-91 North. Follow I-91 North to exit 14. Take a Left toward Thetford Hill/Thetford Center. Go past the Fire Department (on your left). As you go down the hill toward Thetford Center, Camp Farnsworth Road is on your right.
South (CT, Mass, RI, NJ): Take your best route to I-91. Follow I-91 North to exit 14. Take a Left toward Thetford Hill/Thetford Center. Go past the Fire Department (on your left). As you go down the hill toward Thetford Center, Camp Farnsworth Road is on your right.
East (NH, ME):
Southern NH: Make your way to I-89 toward VT, until the I-91 junction. Take the exit for I-91 North. Follow I-91 North to exit 14. Take a Left toward Thetford Hill/Thetford Center. Go past the Fire Department (on your left). As you go down the hill toward Thetford Center, Camp Farnsworth Road is on your right.
Northern NH/ME: Make your way to I-91 South. Stay on 91 south to exit 14 Thetford. At the end of the ramp, take a right toward Thetford Hill/ Thetford Center. Go past the Fire Department (on your left). As you go down the hill toward Thetford Center, Camp Farnsworth Road is on your right.
West (NY and all points beyond):
Northern NY: Make your way to Route 11. Follow East toward Vermont. Take Route 2 through the islands or 78 toward Swanton. Take I-89 South. Stay on I-89 South until the I-91 junction. Take the exit for I-91 North. Follow I-91 North to exit 14. Take a Left toward Thetford Hill/Thetford Center. Go past the Fire Department (on your left). As you go down the hill toward Thetford Center, Camp Farnsworth Road is on your right.
Central and Southern NY (Albany): Make your way to I-90 East toward Chicopee, MA. Take I-91 North. Follow I-91 North to exit 14. Take a Left toward Thetford Hill/Thetford Center. Go past the Fire Department (on your left). As you go down the hill toward Thetford Center, Camp Farnsworth Road is on your right.
