Nova Schola

Come join the Shire of Hartshorn-dale as we climb out of the winter doldrums.  Come learn something new, or teach us something - or even both.  Share your art in the Artisans’ Corner.

The Shire looks forward to welcoming you once again to Nova Schola for a day of classes and sharing.  Class list and schedule to come. 

We are still seeking teachers to add to our exciting line up of classes already scheduled.  We currently have classes on such topics as heraldry, scribal, possibly fencing and embroidery, herbalism, and others.  If you have a class that you are interested in sharing, please get in touch with Alison Wodehalle 148153@members.eastkingdom.org.  This is always a popular event with a great line-up of classes, we hope to see you there!

There is a variety of Fencing, combat Archery, Embroidery, Costuming, Scribal, Metal Work, Heraldry, Food, and Dance classes.  There will be Pysanky egg decorating all day, and a Heraldic consultation table all day.  Plus the Artisans' Corner for sharing and 'drop in' type learning.

There will be water and a variety of snack foods provided by the Shire.  Feel free to bring a lunch - or bring something to share.  Email the Elizabet Marshall (123583@members.eastkingdom.org) with info of what you’d like to bring.  Please bring an ingredient list for all foods not in commercial packaging. 

There will be signs for the unloading area and parking.  The event is on the second floor, but is all on one floor with one exception, and there is a ramp.  The few spaces near the ramp will be for handicapped and unloading only.

Dry site
No smoking indoors, and only in designated areas
No animals other than service animals.
