Feast:
This year’s feast plays to old German traditions.
Our first course of chicken was chosen because the last meal of the year was chicken. The chicken scratching backwards for its food reminds us toreflect on the past year. Think of the good and let the troubles of the past behind.
The second course is a suckling pig. Just as pigs root forward for their foodwe are to look to the new year with hope for a prosperous year for us and your loved ones.
