There will be two big charcoal grills present for use if anyone wants to cook or heat something on site! Her Excellency is also planning fun activities with pumpkins and squash... and some of these may be cooked for the potluck!
2ND BIG UPDATE: The city of Adams has confirmed we have the site for the weekend and CAMPING IS ALLOWED! Please contact the event stewards if you wish to camp. If you do not have a camping shelter, we will have a baronial pavilion to create a "bunk house".
There will be a communal raised fire pit for evening enjoyment for all, please be aware the site is very discreetly damp.
Hear ye! Hear ye! We, Aleksei and Eleanore, Baron and Baroness of Bergental, deem it worthy to host a Baronial Martial Tournament Day, to find or choose Our new Champions!
Our current Champions of Armored, Fencing, Archery, and Thrown Weapons are preparing challenges for all comers to test their mettle on the field of honor!
As is Our custom, the winner of each tournament will receive a prize. If the winner does not state a wish to be Champion at the start of the Tourney, Their Excellencies will choose one from the remaining combatants.
The tournaments will start at approximately 10:00 AM and will occur in the following order:
Archery
Fencing
Thrown Weapons
Armored
Any time on the fields not dedicated to the tournaments may be considered free time to play!

Directions:
The site is flat, open and grassy. We could not confirm accessibility, but there are no stairs and appropriate facilities will be provided.
GPS directions are accurate however the Google address will take you to the back entrance. If that occurs, please drive around to Old Columbia St to the entrance.
Route 8, running north/south through Adams, is accessible from Route 2 at the north end, Route 116 in the middle, and the Mass Pike (90) at the south end. On route 8 in Adams, turn on to Butler Street, and the take a left on to Old Columbia Street. Follow the SCA signs to the entrance.

Feast:
Water and coffee/tea service will be provided.
Food is potluck, so bring something to share! (Does not have to be period) See the recent update regarding cooking equipment.
