Bhakail Champions and Commons 2025

Join the Barony of Bhakail as we choose our next Baronial Fencing and Heavy Fighting Champions!  A potluck lunch, rummage sale, space for arts & sciences, music, Baron Mikael's court, and good friends are some of the many things you can look forward to!

There is no site fee for this event and no feast.  There will be a potluck dayboard, please bring a dish to share.  There will be grills available for cooking and we will provide charcoal and some meat.  As the site is a state park, alcohol is not permitted.  Suggested dish types:

Salad
Side Dish
Beverage
Dessert

Schedule for the day:
10am - Site Opens
11am - MOL opens for fighters
11am - Rummage Sale begins
12pm - Heavy and Rapier tournaments begin
4pm - Baronial Court
6pm - Site Closes
Potluck lunch will run throughout the day.

We will be having our normal Rummage Sale.  And this year we will be having an Artisans’ Area (more details to come).

There are picnic tables under the pavilion but we recommend you bring a chair to watch the fighting.  There will be plenty of room for pop-ups or pavilions.

This is a great event to bring friends and family who are interested in the SCA but have been intimidated by the cost of other events. 

The site is a state park.  There are a few paved paths leading to the bathrooms but much of the site is grass and the ground is uneven.

Being a state park, it is a dry site.  No alcohol allowed.

The park does permit dogs, please keep them leashed and clean up after them.
