Event details
Our Artisan’s Village is filling up quickly, and we look forward to sharing our skills with you! If you’ve never experienced Artisan’s Village before, there will be space for different A&S disciplines to create an “open house” feel for people to learn about different crafts! Participants can wander around to all the areas during the day and learn a bit about all the different types of A&S that make up our Society.
As you explore the Village, please take the time to visit the following areas:
Pottery - led by Mistress Lissa Underhill
Fiber Arts - led by Lady Chana Freidl the Maker
Scribal - led by Lady Margarette la Gantiere
Firecrafting and Survival Skills - led by Lord Aiden Underhill
Dayboard- led by Lord Lawrence Vaughan
Glass Bead Making - led by Lady Cailleach Dhé ingen Chiaráin
Bardic - led by our Baronial Bardic Champion, Merlin Silber
A dayboard will be prepared at our Cooking Village by Lawrence Vaughan, and will feature medieval street food to enjoy as you wander! You can look forward to such treats as griddle breads, meat and veggie pies, pretzels, hot pescods, and assorted fruits and vegetables.
This year at Artisan's Village, we are introducing a cooking village. This will run alongside the dayboard and will allow cooks in the area to experiment while having access to an open cooking fire. Bring your tools, ingredients, and your ideas. Please remember you cannot bring firewood across state lines. To participate in the cooking village, please contact the event stewards.
There is still space available in our village if you are interested in hosting artisans for your craft. Please reach out to the event stewards with your ideas!
