Event Last Modified: November 1st, 2024

Event details

As the winter sets in, the winds howl and the snow blows, celebrate the seasons with us.  What could be better than the stories of 12th night, of winter, yule or Christmas, to share in the warm halls of Glenn Linn.  Tell a story of the hidden creatures that were known in the northernmost regions of Europe, sing songs of the season, or bring instruments to play a tune.  This is an event of fun, games, stories, and music.  There will be a jam session.  Music will be available.  Bring tokens to show your appreciation.  We'll end the day with some simple country dances.  There are plans for games and crafts, fun, prizes and games for all ages
A dayboard will be provided, including a hearty soup, and variety of hand pies, so don't forget your feast gear.
And for dessert? Yes, a contest of Subtleties in the Yule, Winter, or Christmas theme only limited by your imagination.  What is a subtlety you might ask? Construct an edible creation reflecting the theme of the event.  perhaps a Cave for trolls made out of gingerbread.
