Harvest Toys for Tots Tourney

The Shire of Blak Rose will host a fine tournament to benefit Toys for Tots this season.  Under the shade of the tall trees, there will be a list field upon which entrants may prove their prowess. 

What Tournaments are Running?
Heavy Weapons, Fencing, Archery and we will have a Glückshaus tournament!
The buy-in for each tournament is a donatable toy for Toys for Tots!  If you need assistance narrowing down your donation, please reference the Toys for Tots website!

*Of boiled meats ordinary Stew of pork and oatmeal with chicory, spinach, parsley, and scallions. 
*Soup of Old Peas in Fish Day Pea Broth – Dried beans prepared with onions, ginger, cloves, grains of paradise, vinegar, wine, olive oil, and bread crumbs. 
*Tart on Ember-Day – Onions, currants, sage, parsley, ricotta cheese, eggs, butter, sugar, ginger, canel cinnamon prepared in a pie shell. 
*To make a greene Tarte after the manner of Bolognia – Chard, ricotta cheese, eggs, butter, parsley, marjoram, savory, sage prepared in a pie shell. 
*To make Tartes of Peares, Turneps, and Quinces – Turnips (pre-cooked in beef bouillon) and pears, ricotta cheese, a little good, aged cheese to be determined, butter, milk, eggs, sugar, ginger, cinnamon, rosewater prepared in a pie shell. 
*Custarde Lumbarde Cream, eggs, salt, dates and figs, nutmeg prepared in a pie shell. 
*A Flaunr of Almayns – Apples and raisins, grated white bread, cream, saffron, ginger, cinnamon, salt, butter prepared in a pie shell. 
*Crustless Pumpkin Torte – Pumpkin, ricotta cheese, mascarpone cheese, cream, butter, eggs, brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger.
