The Lewiston Auburn Balloon Festival Demo

The Lewiston Auburn Balloon Festival IS happening this year!  August 16 - 18th We have been asked by the city of Lewiston to be there as we are a “fan favorite”

So, we are holding our 7th demo at the Lewiston Auburn Balloon Festival this year so that we may introduce the SCA to approx 100,000 festival attendants throughout the weekend.  While the festival resides in Ravensbridge it draws people in from all over New England.  We're reaching out to you to see if you're willing and able to help us put on a great demo in Auburn, ME.  The Lewiston Auburn Balloon Festival is a weekend-long celebration featuring hot air balloons, food, and entertainment. 

This is a large-scale demo showcasing a good portion of what the SCA has to offer.  This will not be a camping Demo this year.  However, we will have a beautiful setup under the trees down by the river.  We will be located in the main Park where the balloons take off from.  We will definitely have higher visibility to the public.

We will also have an Artisan's Row, an Information Point, and a need for "Roving Chatelaines." We will have children's activities and we will need volunteers to help.
We also participate in the parade on Saturday morning and are always looking for volunteers to walk.

Service animals are allowed.
For those who are mobility challenged, the grounds are fairly flat and very spacious; there are paved walk ways.
