Event date: October 26th, 2024

Event Last Modified: June 20th, 2024

Event details

River Wars has a new date and site.  The good people of the Barony of Carillion have graciously got us permission to use the Quail Hill scout camp.  This is the site they use for SRWC and GGG.
This year RWs will be a one day event due to it being so late into the Fall.  But many of the past activities will be included in the festivities.
There will be rattan, rapier, archery, thrown weapons, equestrian, A&S and most likely siege games.  We hope to include combat archery along with youth combat.  Stay tuned for updates on the activities.  Children's games and the like will be happening too.
Archery, Thrown Weapons and A&S tournaments will be held to decide Iron Bog's newest champions.  The Barony of Bhakail will also take this opportunity to find their new Thrown Weapons champ.

A day board will be prepared by her Honorable Ladyship Piccanina De Monte.
The feast cook is pending until she can be sure of availability.

A schedule for the event will be forthcoming.

SITE POLICY:

This is a DRY site.  Please do not violate this as the ranger will expel you from the site.

Smoking of any kind, including all varieties of flame and flameless smoking, is not permitted in any of the buildings.  Smoking is allowed but you must be at least 100 feet from any building.

No liquid fuels are allowed on the site.  This includes gas, kerosine, oil and alcohol.  Propane is the fuel of choice.  Fires are allowed in designated fire pits only.  Firewood is available from the camp.  Above ground fire rings can be used and can be requested in advance of the event from the Event Steward.  Each area containing a fire must have properly filled fire buckets as a safety measure.  Fires may not be allowed based on the current fire danger rating
