Greetings good gentle folks weary from the wars of summer.  As we transition seasons from summer to fall please, feel free to join us for a relaxing weekend at the Camp Takodah campground for our annual Harper's Retreat.

There will be a full listing of classes for crafts, dancing, music, and many more arts and sciences.

Directions:

Our best suggestion is to use a GPS.  The following directions may not be the most direct route for you.  Please be aware that these are not main highways and may turn at crossroads.  Please watch road signs carefully.

From the East:
Take your best route to NH-101 W to Peterbourough
Turn Left onto NH-202 W follow for approximately 10 miles
Turn Right onto NH-119 W follow for 13.5 miles, Camp Takodah will be on the left.

From the South:
Take your best route to I-91 N to Bernardston
Take exit 28A to 10 N for 13.5 miles
Turn Left onto NH 119 E follow 6.5 miles, Camp Takodah will be on the right.

From the North:
Take your best route to I-91 S to exit 1
Turn Left off the exit onto Route 5 E toward Keene, NH for 1.5 miles
At Malfunction Junction, continue straight onto NH 119 E for 19.5 miles, Camp Takodah will be on the right.

For individuals bringing minors other than their own children, please remember to bring the appropriate medical waiver signed by their legal guardian.

Cabin Registration: 
If you pre-register you will not be charged for a cabin unless we have one available.  If you need to pay by check, we prefer that you pre-register through the form and choose the option to pay by check.  If you mail in your pre-registration without using the online form, do not include the cost of the cabin in the check.  If a cabin is available, we will contact you and you will need to pay for the cabin at Gate.

We highly recommend sending your cabin registration in along with your event and feast registration as cabins are first come, first served.  The number of bunks listed with the cabins is the minimum, occasionally some of the cabins may have an extra bed or bunk.

All cabins have electricity and usually one outlet.  You may want to being a power strip if you need more than 2 plugs.

If you have requested a cabin and one is available, it will be included in your pre-reg total.  If you are put on a waitlist, and a cabin becomes available, you will be notified and sent a second invoice for the price of the cabin using your previously selected payment method.

Groups/families should choose one person to reserve the cabin.  Please note that we strongly suggest keeping to family “pods” .  It is up to the individual reserving the cabin to determine who will be using the cabin.  The event staff will not be combining people into cabins. 

If there are multiple families in your group reserving a cabin, please include your group name so we can try to put the cabins together.
Cabins will be assigned after your reservation has been paid.  You will have 48 hours after you receive your invoice to pay for the cabin.  There will be a waitlist until all cabins have been paid for.

Please do not put a small child in the top bunk unless they are able to get up and down on their own.

Feel free to bring coverings for the windows, or to set up a changing area.

If you reserve cabin space, you are responsible for making sure it is clean at the end of the event.  There is a broom and dustpan along with a small trash can in every cabin.

Regular Cabins (18 available) will have 5 bunk beds and 2 single beds – $80 for the weekend

Large Cabins (4 available) will have 8 bunk beds and 3 single beds – $110 for the weekend

Join us on Saturday night to enjoy the wonderous delicacies provide by Lady Ceara inghean Eoin.

Adult fee (Over age 13):  $15.00
Youth (age 5-12):  $10.00
Children (under 5):  free (with adult)

For a description of the feast, please see the menu on the website.  There will be a full list of ingredients listed on the website once feast is finalized.  In addition, it will be provided day of feast at each table.
