Welcome to the Merry Matron Tavern!  A plethora of events will be happening over the weekend including a firepit on Saturday night, a bardic circle, dice games, board games, dancing with Mistress Brianna, a children’s fairy tale hour, and possibly a fortune teller!  There is also a rumor that Shakespeare himself may appear, or at least some of his works.  There will be fencing and as happens in any good inn, a bar room brawl may break out!  Marshal activities Saturday morning, feasting, and an all-ages treasure hunt and much more!

There are heated and unheated cabins with bunkbeds, showers and flush toilets in several buildings including the main hall.  Tenting is also allowed on the site.

Directions:

From Halifax/Dartmouth/Sackville, there are two choices. 
Choice #1 via Hwy 103 to exit 8, then north on Hwy 14 to Smeltzer Road.  Smeltzer Road will be on your left.  Follow the signs to Camp Mockingee. 
Choice #2 via Hwy 101 towards Windsor, then south on Hwy 14 to Smeltzer Road.  Smeltzer Road will be on your right.  Follow the signs to Camp Mockingee

There is plenty of parking on site.  Do NOT park on the road.

Registration:
Site cost:  $65.00 for adults ($10.00 discount for members), $15.00 for ages 8 to 18, children 7 and under are free. 
Reservation deadline September 20th, 2024.
All fees are in Canadian dollars.

Feast:
Meal costs:  Saturday breakfast $4.00
Saturday lunch $6.00
Feast $16.00
Sunday breakfast $4.00
Total meal plan $30.00.  You may request any or all of the meals when you register.  Please note dietary restrictions when registering
Those wishing to prepare their own food will have kitchen facilities available to them.
Registration deadline September 20th, 2024.  PLEASE NOTE:  if you cancel after the deadline, fees must still be paid as the food will be purchased based on numbers attending
