Riddle Games were very popular throughout the SCA Time period, and very prevalent in Anglo-Saxon Courts. Council of the Gods was a Memory game created by Innocentio Ringheri specifically for the Italian Courts of the 16th Century. Mono-awase was a comparison game and the single most popular game in Japanese Courts from the 8th thru 19th centuries.
There will also be a period card game tournament consisting of Tarot, Pochen, and Malcontent. Winner will receive a custom gameboard created by His Excellency.
