29th Balfar’s Challenge

The Polar Bear, The White Dragon and the Blue Yale walk along the cold shore, "The time has come" the bear, said "to think of other things!  For springs is here a rebirth has begun let us summon our friends and celebrate the day!"

9:00 Gate opens (youth inspection start/run until 10:30) ( 9am fencing sign up/ inspection, authorizations and pick ups).
10:00 SHARP single handed weapon grand Roman melee starts(youth fighting inspection over, field games, pick-ups until 2?)
10:30/11:00 Warlord tournament starts( will continue to it's conclusion) 10:30 fencing triad tourney begins.
12:00 day board opens
1:00 (fencing) Pennsic Heroics Singles Tourney
2:00 Youth Fighting partner tourney
2:30 (fencing) melee practice
3:00 gate closes /.merchant break down.
4:00 Court
7:00 event ends travel home safe Thank you for coming.

***NEW THIS YEAR*** Her Excellency Clarice d'Allaines le Comte, Baroness Dragonship Haven to celebrate Spring will be looking for beauty and artistry.  Anyone wishing to Sponsor a team (make them tabard's, favors, fly banners etc.) to bring beauty and color to the field and side of!  She will provide a SPECIAL AWARD!  **This is an outdoor event, there is 1 covered pavilion for day board with picnic tables.  Some tables will be spaced outside for use.  DO NOT remove tables from the hall or relocate tables without permission from the Event Steward.  Any moved tables must be replaced by the end of the event.  *** Event attendees are HIGHLY encouraged to bring their own pavilions/day shades and chairs ( see Baroness Challenge).

Site is DISCREATLY DAMP.  *****well behaved..  AND LEASHED/CONTAINED AT ALL TIMES dogs are welcome.  you must clean up after your animal.
