Not Ready for Crown Tourney, Tourney and Walk Off the Page A&S Challenge!

Join is in the fair lands of Eisental for a day of fun activities!  What will we have going on?

Let’s start with Not Ready for Crown Tourney, Tourney!  We thought a chance to practice and be comfortable with the format would be fun.  I’ve consulted with His Highness on His plans for His Crown Tournament to provide the format for our tournament.  It’s a great opportunity to practice and see where your conditioning is, or just get in a lot of fighting.

Rapier:  we are working up something challenging and fun for you!  Will post more as plans progress.

Combat lists will open at 10am and close at 11, with the tournaments commencing at 11:30am. 

We are working on adding additional activities and will update our announcement as things fall into place.

Now for the second part of the event title.  Our Walk off the Page A&S Challenge.  This will be in two divisions, works in progress and completed projects.  For both divisions, show us the “Page” that inspired your project (photocopies of the manuscript page or portrait are perfect for this) and what you made, including all the accessories and details that give you the “walked off the page” look.  During the day, you are all invited to display with any notes on your process or documentation our hall.  Late afternoon, get ready to walk the walk in our fashion show!  Please prepare a description of your entry to be read as you show it off.  You also have the option to display without participating in the fashion show, or not display and join the fashion show.

Our site will open their kitchens and bar to offer a variety of breakfast sandwiches and lunch fare as well as libations for purchase.  Cash or card accepted.  Proceeds go directly to them.

The hall and grounds are expansive, pet friendly and handicapped accessible.  The list area is able to accommodate day shades should you wish to bring them.  Pets must be in your control at all times and cleaned up after.  We will have a private changing room should any of our guests prefer it, instead of the general changing rooms. 

We have a spacious shady grove for merchants to display and hawk their wares.  Please bring your own tables, canopies, or tents and while there is no fee, we ask that you register with our Merchant Coordinator Lady Elspeth y Gweledydd (Podling, podlingsplace@yahoo.com) for planning.
