The 100 Minutes War
As winter's woeful song begins to sweep across our beautiful shire once again, our thoughts turn to friends, a warm fire and War!!!  The Shire of Rusted Woodlands is delighted to invite the valiant warriors, learned artisans, and good Gentles of The East Kingdom as well as her beloved cousins from far off to test their mettle once again at the glorious thing we call The 100 Minutes War. 

Our schedule is as follows:

The 100 Minutes War

Site opens at 9:00 to the public.  Site closes at 7 PM. 

9:30 -10:  00 AM- Morning Court - location to be announced. 
10:00 AM- Combat activities begin.  Due to the popularity of this event, we do ask that all combatants be armored and ready to fight at the scheduled time.
10:00- 4:00 PM Hall open for Merchants, A&S, and Heraldic consultation.
1:00 PM- Day Board will be served (Lord Heck McGregor and Baroness Edana Inghean Aluinn Mac Kinnon), Menu to be announced. 
5:00 PM Afternoon Court.  Location TBA.
7:00 PM Site closes.  We thank in advance any gentles who remain afterwards for their willingness to help with cleanup.

Armored Combat Activities:  The Captain's Tourney and 100 Minutes War:  As is tradition, a speed tourney will be held to decide the day's captains.  Combatants will enjoy the standard 100 minute unlimited resurrection melee with each kill being tallied for points.  This year, we aim to maximize your fighting time and minimize your walk time from the resurrection point back to the action!  Stay tuned for specific instructions and battleground information!  Tourney format to be announced.  The area of Armored Combat will remain the same.  CA and Siege are possible.  Contact Sir Tanaka Raiko or Sir Reinhart Basarab Draculesti for details.

Fencing Activities:  Fencers!  There will be time for pick-ups and authorizations before we begin the Snowball/Warlord tourney!  Teams to be determined day of.  Then there will be melees in the maze, weather permitting.  We will run multiple scenarios - and maybe, just maybe, we'll see some of the rare and elusive lava otters out there!  Start time will depend on morning court - but will likely be within 15 minutes of its completion.  Bring your best!  Contact Baron Malcolm Bowman and Alger von Ze’ev for details.

Youth Fighting Activities:  Marshal in charge:  Mathghamhain Ua Ruadháin.
Come join us for a Youth Combat tournament.  Specific games and competitions will be dependent on the number of youth combatants present.  Please bring armor as per guidelines for your youth, if you choose to participate. 


Thrown Weapons:  Marshal in Charge:  Lady Thurayyā bint Sitt al-Sirr.  It takes every Lord, Lady, Gentle and Child to fight a war!  No previous War experience required.  This will be a fun learning environment with Marshals available to teach beginners how to throw weapons.  Loaner items will be available, but will be limited.  Please wear close-toed shoes if you wish to participate.  There will be a small tournament, all are welcome. 


Archery Activities:  Marshal in Charge:  Master Suudar Sarran.  There will be a small tournament and if interest is shown, Royal Rounds.  The tournament can be shot at any time during the day but the range will close at 4:00PM.

A&S Activities Lucky Seven Challenge (Mistress Ana de Guzman and Serafina Della Torre):  The Lucky Seven Challenge invites attendees to embrace the spirit of largess and goodwill by bringing seven items to share with their fellow participants.  This challenge embodies the essence of giving and receiving within our community.  Participation:  All event attendees are encouraged to participate in the Lucky Seven Challenge.  Whether you are a seasoned artisan or a newcomer, this challenge is open to everyone.  Items:  Participants are asked to bring seven items of their choice, which could be tokens, gifts, or creations of any kind.  Exchange:  Participants will gather to present their seven items and exchange them with others, taking home the art of other participants.  Participants will also be able to donate to the Kingdom largess treasury.  For further details:  https://docs.google.com/document/d/1mQFPU79FW_qjnnlgT2F85oJQ0faz7m5nuwEezXLHtbM/edit?usp=sharing

Directions:
From NY / NJ, Take I-80 West to Route 15 North.
Follow Route 15 for about 11 miles, until the highway narrows at a light and becomes a 2 lane road.  Continue north, past a railroad crossing, to a traffic light.  When you pass Papa Roni's Pizzaria on the left, you are approaching the next turn, at the traffic light.
Make a right onto White Lake Road, and follow it for about a mile - Camp Sacajawea is on the right side of the road, on a curve.
While there is a small lot out in front of the Main Building, it is HIGHLY recommended that you park in the parking lot since the front lot will be designated for disability parking and otherwise for loading/unloading only.  The main lot is back before the Main Building, before the Ranger's house.

Registration Fees

Registration:
No deadline, pay at the door.  $25 non-member adult, $20 member adult, $10 youth (6-17), children (5 and under) free, family cap $70.

Feast:
No feast.  We will have a hearty dayboard.  Dayboard will be served in the hall and on the fields of combat.
