Starting something new can seem daunting, and a bit of a financial investment. Have no fear there are creative approaches that are kind to your coin purse and will see you well on your way to discovering a new passion. The event will offer classes on several aspects of the SCA, with a focus on where to spend your money wisely as you try something new. We will answer the age-old question “I wish I knew this when I started”!
Want to share your knowledge and help others get started? Are you an expert at scoring finds at thrift stores or garage sales? We are looking for teachers, contact the autocrat with your ideas. We will also be offering martial classes geared to those just starting.

Merchants are welcome and there is no fee, however please contact our coordinator Lady Elspeth so she can plan space for you appropriately.

Sweatin' to the (real) oldies - Fencing style. Together we'll run through basic warm-up drills and some forms that anyone can do from beginner to expert. Learn to handle a sword (complementary 'swords' provided), basic advance, retreat, lunge, defense, and attack drills that'll help you get warmed up for the day ahead and before every fight!

Registration:
ADULTS: $20, with member discount $15
MINORS: All attendees 17 and under are free
Deadline for mailing checks is July 1st
Feast:
There is no feast however the Fire Hall will be offering lunch for purchase, all proceed to support their organization.
UPDATE:
Lunch menu will consist of hamburgers, hot dogs, perogies, and french fries.
The firehall will have their bar open for this event
