Southern Region War Camp
Hosted by Barony of Carillion - Manalapan , NJ
Event date: June 2nd, 2023 - June 4th, 2023
Event Last Modified: May 24th, 2023
All are welcome to join the Southern Army at this year's War Camp.
As in the past there will be heavy combat, fencing, archery, and thrown weapons.
We will also be having a "Plague Sale", and a Silent auction to support Runnymede 50!
To support the effort we will host an artisan silent auction
If any of your fine artisans would be willing to donate a piece to help us raise funds for an evening of entertainment and merriment for the Barons and Baroness
We would like to post the objects prior to the event with starting bids so people can come prepared for the auction.
I would request items (or good photo) of item by May 26.
Questions, comments etc can be sent to email@example.com
Merchants are always welcome.
Childrens activities will be organized by Mairghread Knox
Attention all OGRs, MoDs, and White Scarves: We will be holding a fencer style "speed dating" meet and greet similar to what GNEW runs. It's an opportunity for new fencers to come out, have a couple passes with someone they not be familiar with, get some feedback, and move on to the next. Notebooks and pens will be available for everyone to provide feedback so individuals don't have to try and remember everything they've been told.
This will start at 10:00 am on Saturday on the fencing field. If you are interested in participating please contact Gracie (mka Cathy Griswold).
A&S – Please feel free to bring any of your projects and pretty things, either completed or in progress, to show everyone. There will be a populous vote for the best submitted. Remember everyone has a different opinion so show us what you have made. No research necessary but if you have a research paper, we would love to know about your item.
A hearty dayboard will be provided, prepared by Lady Alessandra Serena Renda of Gibellina.
