Event details
This will be a feast/celebration for the passing of the Winter and the beginning of Spring; a celebration of the crossing of seasons.
Much merriment will be encouraged including, but not limited to; games, music, dancing, singing, feasting, etc.
A c.1360-90 feast will be offered as prepared by the hands of Lady Tahaya as well as a day-board to fuel the festivities happening before feast-time. I will post the feast menu as soon as it has been finalized. Lady Tayaha has reluctantly agreed to leave the "roasted duck entrails" off of this menu.
Games and (safe and family friendly) shenanigans are encouraged. There will be some games available on-site and all attendees are encouraged to bring any games they would like to share or at which they desire to show their prowess (they don't have to be strictly period, but period-like or themed is heartily encouraged). You never know when an impromptu challenge or tournament may be initiated.
We are very pleased to announce that the festivities have expanded to include the "Queen of Tarts" competition :)
The Baronial Arts and Sciences Championship as organized by the current champion Baroness Janet Kempe, will also occur during the day so an interesting and delightful display of the talents of the Barony will be available for viewing.
Court will be held at the will of Their Excellencies.
The site has a wheelchair elevator and a very spacious accessible restroom.
Site Opens: 10:00h
Site Closes: 20:00h
