Information on the Bardic Competition:
Even Vikings get sleepy after carousing through the long dark night. Inspire your fellows to conquer lands yet to be discovered, down the next pint, or detangle a mysterious weaving project.
Share your stories, poetry, and songs for the chance to win the title of Ostgardr’s Bardic Champion! Open bardic will begin at 12:30pm, qualifying round will begin at 1:15pm. Handmade prizes will be awarded for People’s Choice, Most Entertaining, Honorable Mentions, and of course Bardic Champion! Bonus points will be added for flair, flattery, theme, or documentation.
Children’s Bardic will also be available by request during court set-up at 2:30pm, join in for sing-along songs and open mic!
