Event details

Join the celebration of the unique culture of Barony An Dubhaigheainn as our patron saint, St.  Andrew, goes beyond the Pale and sets off from the port of Calais on the last leg of his six year journey, winding his way back to York, England for next year’s Baronial Investiture!
The Pale of Calais fell under English rule for two hundred years after the Treaty of Brétigny on October 25, 1360, which marked the end of the Hundred Years War.  The Pale was historically part of Flanders whose official capital is Brussels.  Join us to enjoy the intersection of French, Flemish, Belgium and Dutch influences!
The Pale was well known for its important role in medieval textile trade.  We invite the populace to wear their fanciest finery and show off for all who attend.  Bring personal tokens to give to the individuals who impress you the most!

The tournament to determine the next Baronial Rattan Champion will be the main event of the day!
The tournament is open to all gentles but only a resident of An Dubhaigheiann can be named champion by their Excellencies.  If a gentle from outside of the barony wins the tournament, they receive a prize.  The Baronial Rattan Champion will be chosen by the Coronet based on courtesy, comportment, and overall standing in the tournament.  Tournament format is coming soon!

We are seeking performers to entertain and delight us between removes at Feast.  Please contact the Event Steward to sign up.
