The Earl Horic Memorial Sovereign and Consort’s Championship of Arms

The time has come, Our Kingdom’s Champions of Arms have fulfilled their pledge and successors must be chosen.  Their Majesties welcome all who would compete or bear witness to the day to join them In Their Shire of Eisental. 

We are deeply honored to host Our Kingdom's Earl Horic Memorial Sovereign and Consort’s Championship of Arms Tournament and look forward to what we hope will be an exciting day for all.  Our site is expansive, and the list area is able to accommodate day shades should you wish to bring them.  We have a spacious shady grove for merchants to display and hawk their wares.  Please bring your own tables, canopies, or tents and while there is not fee, we ask you register with our Merchant Coordinator for planning.  (Luiza Vincente, gabrielamd1994@hotmail.com).

We are now able to welcome you at the door should you decided to join us that day.  Preregistration is no longer required and we are able to drop the attendance cap.

Athena's Thimble will host a Solar throughout that day with a Paneling session in the afternoon

The Shire of Eisental's Minister of Arts & Sciences invites those who come out to the event to participate in our A&S Competition.  The theme will be 'For Thine Is The Kingdom'.  Pay homage to the kingdom, your local group, or the King and Queen, exploring any medium your heart desires.


Our site will open their kitchens and bar to offer a variety of breakfast sandwiches and lunch fare as well as libations for purchase.  (Please bring cash).  A section of the hall will be set aside for you to display your project or works in progress and enjoy meeting other artisans.  The hall and grounds are handicapped accessible, and we will have a private changing room should any of our guests prefer it instead of the general changing rooms.  Pets are welcome as long as they have responsible humans who will keep them safe while on site (leashed or under control, i.e.  temporary pen, kennel, etc.) and cleaned up after.

The East Kingdom and the event staff are committed to making sure that our friends & families stay safe.  EK guidelines for COVID safety changes often.  All attendees over the age of 5 must either show evidence of full vaccination or show negative test results of a medically supervised COVID test taken within 72 hours of the event.  Masks that conform to CDC standards and worn properly over the nose and mouth, are required of all attendees over the age of 2, in all indoor spaces or in public tens/pop-up/pavilion with 3 or 4 walls up and may be lowered briefly for eating or drinking.  Masks are optional when outdoors and we encourage frequent handwashing and social distancing.  Please take whatever steps you feel necessary for your own sense of safety beyond the stated mandates. 

All persons over the age of 5 are now required to show proof of vaccination or negative COVID test taken within 72 hours of the event.  All persons over the age of 18 must also present government issued photo ID or a valid SCA membership card.  Please have these in hand when checking in.
Please remember, although the SCA complies with all applicable laws to ensure the health and safety of our event participants, we cannot eliminate the risk of exposure to infectious diseases during in-person events.  By participating in the in-person events of the SCA, you acknowledge and accept the potential risks.  You agree to take any additional steps to protect your own health and safety and those under your control as you believe to be necessary.
