After much trial and tribulation, we are finally able to announce Harper's Retreat - The Plague Edition:  Take 2, "The Live Concert".  We will once again be at the beautiful Camp Takodah.  Although we are still working with Covid restrictions, we look forward to being together once again.  Many of our usual activities are being planned such as fighting, fencing, archery, thrown weapons, bardic, A&S and classes. 

*On Saturday we will be hosting King and Queens Thrown Weapons Champions. 
*On Sunday we will be hosting The Earl Horic Memorial King and Queens Champions of Arms

Although we will not be offering feast or meal plan, we will be offering a day board on both Saturday and Sunday.  In addition, Their Excellencies will be hosting a "Bring Your Own Feast" on Saturday evening.  A soup course will be offered for those who wish to partake.  Our kitchen staff and servers will be wearing both gloves and masks whenever they are handling food.  We ask that people sign up for a table ahead of time and be conscious of current Covid safety precautions. 

Cabins will be available for the weekend on a first come first serve basis.  This year we are not offering bunks in cabins, but a full cabin rental.  It will be up to the individual renting the cabin to decide who to allow to stay in the cabin.  We highly recommend keeping to family pods.  There is also space for those who wish to set up tents.

Merchants are welcome at no extra charge.  Merchants will be outdoors again this year, and should contact the event steward to reserve a space.

* Although the SCA complies with all applicable laws to ensure the health and safety of our event participants, we cannot eliminate the risk of exposure to infectious diseases during in-person events.  By participating in the in-person events of the SCA, you acknowledge and accept the potential risks.  You agree to take any additional steps to protect your own health and safety and those under your control as you believe to be necessary.

** Please note that both the site and EK rules currently requires masks to be work when in common areas.  Masks will also be required during all bardic performances, including the playing of wind instruments.  There are good instructions online for making or altering a mask for use by musicians.  You do not need to wear a mask in your private cabin or tent.  Takodah has taken on additional staff to meet the increased need for cleaning and sanitation of common areas.  Please be responsible and respectful of others and practice social distancing and good sanitation.

*** Due to Covid 19 and the current upsweep of cases, Camp Takodah is requiring all attendees to sign a waiver.  This will be available at Gate when you check in.  If you have been recently diagnosed, exposed, or show any symptoms of Covid, please do not attend the event.  The waiver text can be found here:  https://harpers.northernarmy.org/fees-refund-policy/takodah-waiver

"Bring Your Own Feast" all you can eat soup course - $5.00.
