Crown Tournament of Magnus Tindal and Alberic von Rostock

We welcome you to join the Shire of Harthsorn-dale and the Barony of Bhakail as we host the Royal Consuls, Tindal and Alberic, so that they can hold their crown tournament to find their heirs to the Eastern Thrones. 
** A few key items of note***
Please make sure that you are prepared for the heat, a suggestion is to bring towels that you can place in your cooler to use for cooling yourself off.  Please bring your own food and water, while we will have bottled water available it will not be cold.  Well behaved dogs are allowed on the site but must be leashed and cleaned up after.

Although the SCA complies with all applicable laws to ensure the health and safety of our event participants, we cannot eliminate the risk of exposure to infectious diseases during in-person events.  By participating in the in-person events of the SCA, you acknowledge and accept the potential risks.  You agree to take any additional steps to protect your own health and safety and those under your control as you believe to be necessary.

Registration will be pre-registered and pre-paid only.  Gate will be no touch, with Gate staff checking off attendees as they arrive.  EVERYONE MUST REGISTER FOR THE EVENT, INCLUDING COMBATANTS AND CONSORTS.
Masks are not required but are strongly encouraged.  Event staff will try to wear masks through out the event.  No one is to reprimand anyone for not wearing a mask. 
There will be picnic tables set aside as the designated area to eat and drink.  Food and drink may not be shared
The event will be entirely outdoors except for the restrooms.  Event staff will be monitoring this area to prevent loitering. 
High touch surfaces, such as door handles leading to the bathrooms, faucets, and any high touch surface outdoors, will be wiped down every two hours. 
Purell hand sanitizer is available throughout the site. 
Outdoor changing rooms will be provided, but attendees will be encouraged to arrive in garb if possible.  Family groups will be allowed to use a changing room together.  The rooms will then be left unoccupied for 5 minutes between groups in order for any airborne particles to settle/blow away before the next group. 
We will continue to monitor local and state rules, as well as SCA guidance on Covid restrictions. 
Individually packaged water bottles are available.


Activities will be limited to combat between combatants vying for the thrones of the East Kingdom, followed by the court of their majesties.  No other activities are planned.

The large pavilion offers plenty of shaded area available but you are welcome to bring an ez up or similar, the site has asked that no pavilions be put up.
Attendees are encouraged to arrive in garb but if needed there will be outdoor changing areas available.
There will be individually bottled water, but attendees should bring food and drink as needed.
Site restrictions:  NO alcohol and NO smoking, including vaping. 

Pre-registration is absolutely required, please pay attention to the deadlines to get registration in.  The event cap has been lifted.  We will be accepting registrations to allow for 200 spectators.  Once we reach that number we will start a wait list.
