We are at Ridley Creek State Park in Pavilion #3. There will be a potluck, please bring a dish to share. Please contact our Potluck Coordinator, Baron Mael Eoin at email@example.com Please let him know what you are planning to bring with a list of ingredients.
We will be holding the Bhakail Fencing and Heavy Weapon championships that day. Traditionally the tournaments are open to members of Bhakail and the friends of Bhakail, you don\'t have to live in Bhakail to be a Bhakail champion, you just need to be willing to service (and wear cool regalia!)
So bring your stories of past Pennsic\'s and join us for a relaxing day watching the Championship tourneys and sharing friendship and good food
As this is a state park alcohol is Prohibited. Dogs are permitted in park as long as they are leashed. The park is moderately accessible.
For the rapier tournament this year again will be something a little different. The tournament will be a slippery slop. Which is basically a triple - elimination.
For Heavy weapons tournament. Tourney! Tourney! Need I said more? Sharpen your Blades. Check your straps. Look over all the notes you have taken from all the studying you have been doing. Pay heed for you are being offered a chance to put everything to a test in this friendly duel competition. This is not just a dual, but it shall be a race to collect the points. Our goal is to offer you as much of a competition as you can handle. Each bout is fought will be a two out three passes. So, grab your gear call your buddy, have that buddy call another buddy --- repeat this until all your buddies have heard about this great day of competition and come to play.
The tourney will be along the lines of a \"Bedford\" style format. The number and sequence of wins and losses determines the amount of points awarded to each fighter. The total amount of points for each round always equals ten (10). When an individual has lost twice that round is over for pairing.
The scoring will be as follows: One fighter wins the first 2 fights 10 points to the winner; 0 to the loser.
A win, a loss, a win 7 points for one with two kills; 3 for one kill
A win, a loss a loss 7 points for two kills; 3 for one kill
A win, a double kill 7 points for two kills; 3 for one kill Double kill
A double kill 5 points/5 points spilt or A win, a loss, a double kill5points/5 points split
The points will be used to help set the next pairing. **Please note tournament format is subject to change. **
