Baronial Muster and Fort Knox Demo

This public demo will have fencing and heavy list tournaments. Youth combat is TBA. Artisans, please come prepared to demonstrate your artistic work. Musicians and dancers are welcome. More details will come.
Artisans are allowed to sell their work to both participants and the public, but must maintain the village appearance and actively demonstrate the skills used to create the items they are selling–if you have any questions about this, please contact the autocrat (see below).
As a Maine State Park, this is a dry site. Dogs are welcome, but must be leashed and picked up after. Please keep in mind that the public also brings their dogs and plan accordingly.
There is no entry fee for this event. There will be no dayboard or feast provided.
Parking will be off site. Vehicles cannot drive up to the fort entrance between 9am and 5pm (public demo hours).
This site may be difficult for some people with physical disabilities to access. If you are unfamiliar with the site, please contact the autocrat with questions/concerns.
Public Demo Hours: 9am-5pm on Saturday and Sunday
There is space inside the fort for period tents. If you do not have a period tent, there are both indoor sleeping accommodations and a place for mundane camping. Those wishing to stay on site overnight must follow the directions listed below. Day trippers are welcome.

From Belfast: Proceed north on US Rte 1, through Searsport and Stockton Springs, immediately before crossing the Penobscot Narrows Bridge, take a left onto Rte. 174. Fort Knox will be approximately 1/4 mile up on your right.
From Bar Harbor: Follow US Rte. 1 south across the Penobscot Narrows bridge, immediately adjacent to the town of Bucksport. Once over the bridge take a right onto Rte. 174. Fort Knox will be approximately 1/4 mile up on your right.
From Bangor: On Rte. 1A South....follow Rte 1A South through the towns of Hampden, Winterport, Frankfort and Prospect. In Prospect Center, take a left onto Rte. 174. Follow Rte 174 approximately 4 miles. Fort Knox will be on your left. On Rte 15 South....follow Rte 15 South through the city of Brewer and the towns of Orrington and Bucksport. In Bucksport, take a right onto US Rte.1 South and proceed over the Penobscot Narrows bridge. Immediately upon exiting the bridge take a right onto Rte. 174. Fort Knox will be approximately 1/4 mile up on your right
