Event details

Unto the beloved populace of the East:

We are ready to celebrate Panteria XXV’s Silver Anniversary!

Our signature summer event, Panteria returns with exciting combat opportunities:  tournaments, melee games and practices, and training for armored, combat archery, rapier combatants and thrown weapons.  There will also be opportunities to learn, authorize, and participate in these activities.  In addition to these martial activities, we have equestrian games.

There will be an Arts and Sciences display, and a chance to interact with nobles looking to improve their craft.  There will be a history display and a tea with some of Panther Vale’s founders.  Take part, and help us make the next 25 years amazing.

If you are new to the SCA, this is a perfect introduction to how we do summer events, and we have activities designed just for you!  Until then, check out our photo gallery of Panteria's past and Master Gwen’s video collage on our Website https://panthervale.eastkingdom.org/panteria/

Youth activities have a long history at Panteria.  There is a full spectrum of activities for growing folks.  Bring the whole family and get ready to embark upon a glorious Panteria XXV!

Important Event Information:
Update:  Preregistration is no longer required but is preferred.  Registration deadline has been extended to May 20th.

Vaccine/ Testing Requirements:
The East Kingdom requires that all attendees ages 5 and up at all in-person gatherings show proof of either full vaccination against COVID-19 or a medically supervised negative COVID test taken within 72hours of the event.  Proof of vaccination or a negative test shall not be required for children under 5.  Attendees aged 18 or older will have to show government-issued ID or SCA blue membership card matching test results or vaccination proof to gain entry to the event.

Masking :
Masks are no longer required at outdoor events, including martial activities.  However, masks are still required for indoor gathering.  Please note that this includes folks gathering in a public tent / pop-up / pavilion with 3 or 4 walls.  The air flow with 3 or 4 walls up is insufficient to be safely unmasked.  Masks may be lowered briefly while actively eating or drinking.
Of course, many will wish to continue to wear masks, and we respect that choice.  Everyone must take the steps necessary for their own sense of safety at our activities.
