A themed event geared towards friendly competition. The idea is to show case our fun. You will find activities for those that: Fight, Fence, Shoot, Throw, Equestrian, A&S, and Teach. Have you ever imagined going for the “Gold” while watching the mundane Olympics? Well now is your chance to do it here at this event. The goal is that you, the populace, have such a good time that the “sporting” events grow.
Equestrian:
The Emprise of the White Rose
Greetings from Lady Tessa Boncheval unto the populace of the East Kingdom.
I invite Equestrians from the Barony, the East, and surrounding Kingdoms to join in the first
Emprise of the White Rose, Her Grace, Duchess Kiena Stewart, will be the Royal patroness for the Emprise. Morning demo and practices.
After a small break there will be a Tournament. This tournament will not only be to find the new Baronial Champion but who will get the take the Gold. Trying to hold to the theme, there will be medals of skill awarded. All are welcome to participate in the course. This will consist of heads, rings reeds, spear, lance at 3 heights (using a cross body lance aiming at 3 balls hanging at different heights), and equitation challenges.
After evening court, we will have a formal procession of participants and the presentation of
Champions to their Majesties and Excellencies.
TIME SCHEDULE: Saturday 8:30 Field setup; 9:30 Introduction to Mounted Combat; 2:00 Course Run; 4:00 Mounted Archery Demo and after court an Equestrian FASHON SHOW
Artisan Row:
As in the past, Artisan Row is going to be set up to give us all a place to play. Are you itching to share what you learned? Love what you do and can’t wait to help others find a new passion? Teachers and Guilds will have a place to meet and teach. We have more room and are looking for people to come out to teach, display, create, and discuss all things Arts & Sciences. TIME SCHEDULE: Saturday tables will be setup as needed with classes to follow court till 4:30 (how much can you teach, learn and share?)
Archery:
Let arrows fly not only for a chance to become the new Baronial Champion but also a chance to go for the “GOLD”. A true challenge for all skills.

A&S COMPETITION:
Come lay your eyes on all the wonderful A&S projects. Choose the project that will bring home the “GOLD”. The Baronial Champion asks if the artisans of the Kingdom would come to display their talents. Bring a project for a new skill you learned over the last 3 years. A finished project is better but in progress (at least 50% complete) is acceptable. Documentation is preferred, but especially should includes what drew you to learn this new skill. Deliver your project with documentation to the A & S area (by the stage by 12:30). The Baron and Baroness will also be view as they quest to find a new Champion. Thrown weapons:
The Triathlon of Thrown Weapons
Whether you are going for the Gold or seeking the title of champion; the Barony of Iron Bog and the Barony of Bhakail seeks those with skill in Knife, Axe, and Spear throwing to attend. Each Round will consist of throwing 3 Knives, 3 Axes, and 3 Spears in whichever order the thrower chooses. All 3 of a type must be thrown before moving on to their next selection.

Youth:
There are youth activities in the works. The wonderful talents of Mairghread Knox and Fiadhnait inghean Chiaragain will give the youth a fun and challenging day for ALL ages. Please stop by to share in all the fun. Yes, the youth shall be going for the gold too. Cheer them on!

Fencing: Tournaments/Melee (depending on time)
The day will be filled with dancing blades. Several tourneys with take you through day. Those competing in the Olympic themed bear pit will work their way towards the “GOLD”. Will you be the first?
Time Schedule: Inspection starting at 10 --- Tourney to follow morning court
Fighters:
Start the day with a points tourney and end your day will a capture the flag melee. Combat Archer’s have not fear there shall be fun for you as well.

Focaccia was the period version of modern pizza, a word from the 16th century used to describe a street food. The modern version of pizza will be delivered 6:30 till gone. Please bring your own beverages
