Quest for Wit and Wisdom XXXVI

Quest is Settmour Swamp’s local camping event and includes competitions to determine the Barony’s champions for heavy weapons fighting, rapier combat, thrown weapons and archery. There is also a brewing competition, artisan’s row, a bardic circle and of course the Quest, where all our welcome to test their wit and skill.
Baron Jonathan Miles and Baroness Teresa Ana Perez, welcome all to join in our weekend-long celebration.
Your hosts ask of you: Please do not set up any tents until you have signed in at gate/troll, in order to avoid any confusion about the layout of the camping areas.

All brewing contest entries are to be presented to Troll upon arrival on site and must be kept behind the bar until the contest. Each bottle needs to be accompanied by the name of the item, the category (beer, wine, mead, cordial) and the name of the maker of said libation.
Note: Any unconsumed brewing entries must be removed from the site or they may be discarded after the competition.

(Note: There is usually a waiting list for feast at this event. As a result, all those who purchase a spot at feast must be trolled in by 5 p.m. on Saturday. Failure to do so will result in the release of the space for those on the waiting list. Thank you for your consideration)

● Pets: Pets are permitted, and must be kept on a leash at all times. Certain areas will be off limits to pets.
● Alcohol: No alcoholic beverages may be brought on site. There will be a site-run bar available, and open until 2:00am. This policy will be strictly enforced by event staff. Anyone in violation of this policy will be removed from the site.
● Pond: There is a pond on site but is not for swimming.
Children are most welcome, but please supervise your children at all times. For minors to attend the event accompanied by an adult who is not their own parent or court-appointed guardian, they must present a minor waiver AND a medical treatment waiver signed by their parent/guardian. Copies of these forms can be found at http://www.sca.org/docs/waivers.html and will also be available at the event. The forms do not need to be notarized.
For those of you who do not camp, there are two near-by hotels in Clinton, New Jersey.

A PayPal invoice will be generated within 24 hours of the online preregistration information being submitted. Online preregistration is not complete until the PayPal invoice has been paid.

As a note, Food will not be included in the price of the event fee. A separate fee for feast is required.
