Event date: June 15th, 2019
Event Last Modified: March 12th, 2019
And returning to our former home at the Unitarian Universal Fellowship of Huntington Church for this year’s event. Our talented 2018 Fencing champion, Lord Eanraig the Bonesetter, beckons with the quest for the fencers of AnDubhaigeainn and our dear neighbors to see who will be his successor. Come one…come all to try your hand or simply enjoy the festivities with Prefect Titus Aurelius Magnus and Baroness Sorcha of Stonegrave.
Inspections and authorizations for the Tournaments will begin at 11 AM. Alongside the fencing challenge, each fencer in the Tournament must be introduced by a herald, bring your creativity to describe the attributes of our fabulous fencers. It is expected that each fencer’s herald will be vividly "over the top" (as in “A Knight's Tale”). A prize and recognition will be awarded for the best heraldry.
A resplendent dayboard will keep challenger and spectator alike well filled the site is “Damp” so you may toast the spectacle. The Canton invites you to bring your chairs, blankets and shade to take respite upon the lawns and visit with old and new friends.
The event will be held rain or shine, plans are to spend the day outside on the lawn but activities will move indoors if necessary.
