COVID-19 Statement

The East Kingdom and the event staff are committed to making sure that our friends & families stay safe. Kingdom guidelines for COVID safety change often. Masks that conform to CDC standards and worn properly over the nose and mouth are required of all attendees over the age of 2 in all indoor spaces or in public tents or pop-ups with 3 or 4 walls up and may only be lowered briefly for eating or drinking. Masks are optional when outdoors and we encourage frequent handwashing and social distancing. Please take whatever steps you feel are necessary for your own sense of safety beyond the stated mandates.

All persons over the age of 5 are now required to show proof of vaccination or negative COVID test taken within 72 hours of the event. All persons over the age of 18 must also present government issued photo ID or a valid SCA membership card. Please have these in hand when checking in.

Although the SCA complies with all applicable laws to ensure the health and safety of our event participants, we cannot eliminate the risk of exposure to infectious diseases during in-person events. By participating in the in-person events of the SCA, you acknowledge and accept the potential risks. You agree to take any additional steps to protect your own health and safety and those under your control as you believe to be necessary.

Winter Nights
A winter's night is made better by entertaining each other!  Please join us for Winter Nights, where performers (storytellers, poets, singers, instrumentalists, dancers, etc.) will perform, and will set performance challenges for each other.  Performers are encouraged to evoke the time and place where their story is told, and new performers are encouraged to participate.  All are welcome!  Audience members are highly encouraged to attend!  Hosted by the East Kingdom College of Performers

Challenges will take place in rounds:
* Round One:  Performers will perform a short (< 7 minute) piece to meet a challenge from the "EKCoP Standing Challenges List" available here:
