Blood and Axes the Third - The Third Time`s a War!

Event date: June 29th, 2019 - June 30th, 2019

Event Last Modified: June 22nd, 2019

Event details

Two years ago, Northpass decided that we should run my thoughts of a one-off martial focused event.  Last year`s second edition of the event was fun but more was demanded by all and as such a third helping will be had.

It seems a local patrol of the wild forests of Northpass found a stranger with a rather large amount of coin and a larger amount of libation.  Without knowing where he got this the assumption was that it was stolen from locals (as we are locally known for our brewing prowess that is not a surprise.) What we didn't know was that this was His Majesty Acre!  The people of Acre (as one might imagine) are not happy with this turn of events...

So, it is to be that we will have a war to determine the outcome of this sad misunderstanding.  We will fight in friendly tournaments across the field of battle to determine the conclusion of the day.  Will Acre have to pay ransom for their Liege ? or will they defeat us on the field of Valour and free their King and extract tribute for our indiscretion?

So, as we settle this, we invite one and all, great and small, young and not young to hone their skills of martial activity.  We should be ready to defend our lands and the righteous honor of the Crown of our Eastern Realm!  Or those of Good Cheer that will regain the freedom of the Lord of Acre should be ready to fight for His freedom.  I exhort you to come to compete and enjoy all things of valor!

So, come test your might and art of combat against all as we offer a field of chances to throw axes (and knives and javelins) shoot your bows, fence, fight...  The scoring of the war will be posted soon.

We hope to celebrate our grand forests as well this year...  and that this war will end with a renewed brotherhood of friends chasing the dream.  Vivat to all those who join this quest on either side!
