Join the Canton of Gryphonwald to celebrate two decades of opening our doors to you, your family and friends for a day of warmth, amiability, and good cheer!
As we grow and prosper, we are proud to announce that their excellencies wish it to be known across these lands that they are enthralled by a profound need to establish and maintain a new office in admiration of Settmour's Brewers; to properly establish the supremacy of Settmour brew as the brew of choice throughout the lands, and to maintain his & her excellency through lengthy courts and social engagements on a cushion of finely tended wines, meads, cordials and other alchemical mixtures.
And so, at this event, their excellencies and a trusted cabinet of aficionados shall determine, by rites secret and mysterious, the gentle for whom Settmour brewing is the personification and as such, shall hold as the appointed champion to face all comers, challenges, and boasts for the coming year.
Let it be known that the honor to host our Barony's Bardic competition is also held! Come before the Canton of Gryphonwald, the Barony of Settmour Swamp, and our esteemed Baron and Baroness to compete in our Bardic competition.
Let us not forget the opportunity to test your skills in the arenas of art and science by entering a piece of work in the populace vote A&S competition.
For all said competitions, please prepare alongside your submittal, whether it be art, brew or song, a short description of the work, all associated documentation and its origin or inspiration.
The game of Kubb, introduced to us by our Norse friends, has become a beloved pastime amongst Swampies et al. A tournament will be held for the enjoyment of all. Spectators, beginners, and seasoned players are welcome!
And after building up an appetite from a day of revelry let Raela a Bheithir and Amitabh a’ Bheithir take you on a culinary journey through the exotic land of India and Punjab!
Our extravagant dishes originate from the 16th century, steeped deep in the influences of the Mughal Empire amassing swaths of Southern Asia. Immerse yourself in an amazing ambiance to enjoy warm spices, an array of colorful and extremely flavorful, rich dishes and decadent desserts; as we serve you and delight your senses!
Feast Menu:
Appetizers
· PAPADUM (V)- A thin, crisp, disc-shaped, spiced wafer
· ALOO CHAAT (V)- Fried potatoes and chickpeas, topped with yogurt, sauces and crunchy chickpea noodles
· CHICKEN TIKKA SKEWERS- Tender pieces of chicken marinated in yogurt and spices, grilled to perfection
· RAITA (V)- A cooling yogurt dish containing mint, cucumber, roasted cumin and spices (chaat masala)
Condiments (can be used throughout meal)
· NEEMBU AUR PYAAJ (V)- Red onions chopped and served with lemon wedges
· IMLI CHUTNEY (V)- A sweet tamarind sauce
· KOTHMIRI CHUTNEY (V)- A spicy sauce consisting of cilantro and green chile peppers

Dinner- First Course
· MUTTER PANEER (V)- Peas and non-melting farmer cheese in a tomato based sauce, spiced with garam masala (Garam masala- Roasted and ground coriander, cumin, cardamom, cloves, black pepper, cinnamon, and nutmeg)
· GOAT CURRY- A slow simmered, rich tomato and onion curry containing delectable chunks of seasoned goat
· ROTI (V)- A traditional round flatbread made from wholemeal flour
· JEERA RICE (V)- Basmati rice flavored with fried cumin seeds

Dinner- Second Course
· CHANA ALOO (V)- A milder, savory curry of chickpeas and potatoes infused with a variety of rich Indian spices.
· MURGH MUGHLAI - Tender bites of chicken in a rich, creamy and decadent onion and almond gravy
· ROTI (V)- A traditional round flatbread made from wholemeal flour

· GULAB JAMUN (V)- A fried milk-solid-based sweet served in a light sugary syrup touched with rose water
