The Shire of Owlsherst cordially invites you to a day of frivolity and feasting at our annual Country Twelfth Night!  We will feature armoured combat for adults and youth, a rapier tournament along with a full schedule of activities including music, dancing and games.  A traditional King Cake will be served to select a King/Queen of Misrule to encourage more joviality.

Mid-Day will feature a Day Board for your enjoyment and refreshment.  The Owlsherst Cook's Guild will provide a sumptuous traditional feast by Head Cook Brangwayna Morgan.  Feast seating is limited, so register early.  Anyone with food restrictions should contact the Head Cook no later than 2 weeks before the event.  Off-board seating will be available.  Alas, this is a dry site.

The days activities will include an A&S Sharing Room, Heavy Combat, a Rapier Tournament, games, dancing, music, and more.

Children's Activities will be run by the Widow Kait, including an Owl Hunt game.

A Chatelaine's Table will be available during Feast for newcomers.

Feast Menu:
Compost - pickled salad of fall fruit and vegetables (vegetarian,
Sowpys Dorry - toast in almond milk, topped with onions sautéed
in olive oil and wine (vegetarian)
Bread and Butter

First Course:
Roast Beef with galentyne sauce (sharp relish with spices and
bread crumbs)
Grounden Beans - beans boiled in vegetable broth, served with
bacon on the side (vegetarian, GF)
Aquapatys - boiled garlic with spices (vegetarian, GF)

Second Course:
Ravielles - ravioli filled with ricotta and shallots (vegetarian)
Rys - cooked rice reheated with almond milk, sugar, and honey
(vegetarian, GF)
Flaun of Almayne - pear and apple custard pie

Take your best route to US 30 in York (if coming from North or South use I-83 and go east on Arsenal Road).  Take Rte 24, Mt.  Zion Road south towards Red Lion.  Travel 1.1 mile.  Turn right at the light on Kingston Rd.  Travel .8 mile to First Church of the Brethren, which will be on your left.

Adult Registration Fee:  18 and over:  $14,
($5.00 member discount)
Teens 13-17:  $8.00
Children 6-12:  $5.00
Children 5 and younger:  Free
Family Max:  $38.00

Feast Fee:  $10.00, limited seating.
Please register early.
