Event details

THE BARONY OF BUCKLAND CROSS INVITES ALL GOOD GENTLES TO JOIN THEM FOR THE PREMIERE INVESTITURE OF THEIR VERY FIRST BARON AND BARONESS; THE HONORABLE LORD AURDDEILEN-AP-ROBET, AND LADY SIGRIDH BENGSTDOTTER.

Being the holiday season, the soon-to-be Baron and Baroness have requested the great hall be filled with the sights, sounds, and smells befitting the time of year.  To honor that request, there will be music, dancing, and a baking competition; specifically, cookies!  So, break out your favorite period or modern cookie recipes and start baking.

COOKIE COMPETITION
All cookie entries will be separated into two categories; Period and Modern.  Points will be awarded for their appearance, taste, and aroma in both categories; with additional points awarded for historical documentation in the period category.  All cookie entrees must be accompanied with ingredient documentation listing both the Society and Mundane name of the baker, and ALL the ingredients used.
Please be mindful of food allergies and be aware that the soon-to-be Baron is allergic to coconut, and the Baroness is allergic to Potato.  Food Allergies for their Majesties and their Highnesses can be found via links on the East Kingdom website.
The winners of the competition will be announced during Evening Baronial Court.

DONATIONS
Because the event site is a Non-Profit Children and Family Services Center that cares for children from birth to fifteen years of age who have experienced abuse, neglect, or abandonment in their families, the soon-to-be Baron and Baroness hope that in the spirit of the holiday season you might consider making an additional monetary donation to the Center.  All donations will be collected at the Event Gate (Troll) and will be given to the Center on behalf of the Society.
