To the Musicians of the East Kingdom, that as music is dear to her heart and the coronation site is singularly well suited to musical performance, LET IT BE KNOWN that it is our Princess’s wish that at the Coronation of Wilhelm von Ostenbrücke and Vienna de la Mer, you, be given the opportunity to share your gifts with the populace. There will be a block of time directly after the coronation ceremony during which we will organize a showcase of our kingdom’s musical talents.
Those wishing to perform should contact Lady Sarra Byrd (Sarah Dornblaser) (uwssop@yahoo.com). Please put “Coronation Music” in the subject line of your email. Please provide your name (society/mundane), contact information, the piece(s) you wish to perform, and the run time of those pieces. Ensembles and soloists, instrumentalists and vocalists are all encouraged to participate. The deadline to apply for participation is Friday, 9/17/18.
We are also looking for people to participate in an ad hoc choir and instrumental ensemble to perform several short pieces during the coronation ceremony. Please let us know if you’d be interested in participating in that as well. The deadline to apply for participation in the ad hoc ensembles is Friday, 9/10/18.
