Event details

Summer beckons us, warm and inviting, to come and play!
Stonemarche is once again hosting her annual Palio di Stonemarche!  Our summer games, pitting the contradas of our Barony against each other to see who shall win the games and be given the banner!
Will you fight with tremendous Sole, our northern lands, filled with children, fast wit and good cheer?
Or perhaps you will cheer on Hippocampo, our seaside brethren, their strong arm and mighty voices?
Our joyful southern lands are Ferrari’s turf, hear them shout ‘Vi, vi, vi!’ as they race, tooth and nail to the finish.
Everyone is entreated to compete, whether you’re from Stonemarche or from far off lands; anyone can join a contrada for the day.  All of Saturday will be filled with games, ending with The Grand Parade to the horse ring, to see Equestrians show off their prowess.
A wonderful dayboard will be provided on Saturday for all.

Sunday, Stonemarche hosts her Golden Sword and Golden Foil tourneys.  One of our oldest traditions, we welcome newcomers to the list field, cheering them on as they fight for honor and glory.

From the north, your exit shall be 7.  You'll take a left off the highway and then the first right past the Highway on-ramp will be Warner Road.  Warner Road turns into Kearsarge Road, though you won't notice it.  The Fairgrounds will be on your left.

From the South, you'll want to take Exit 6 onto Route 127.  You'll follow that to the right off the highway, towards the center of town.  Route 127 T's at Main Street, and you'll take a left.  Go over the little bridge and you'll see the Fire Station on the left.  The road forks again, and you'll take the left-hand branch, onto Kearsarge Ave.  Follow that for only a few minutes and the Fairgrounds will be on your right.
