Event details

We invite one and all, great and small, young and um...no longer young to compete and enjoy all things of valor! 

Come test your might and art of combat against all as we offer a field of chances to throw axes (knives and javelins ok too) shoot your bows, fence, fight...I suppose the picture is now clear! 

We offer the following activities for your enjoyment and will offer more detail on a dedicated website as things are finalized...

Axes:  Corwyn will return from his running the range at Barleycorn to marshal this challenge here. 

Bows:  We are still putting together the details.

Fencing:  Ben will be coordinating the activities here.

Rattan:  Gunnvor Hausalkjufr will be offering chances to test your rattan. 

Youth Combat:  Will be led by Mathghamhain Ua Ruadháin

The midday food will be offered by our own THL Caleb the Woodpecker ... 

The evening food option will be offered by Nagashima Ichiro Ujimichi. 

Breakfast food for the campers will be bring your own or share with others...  There will NOT be any event provided food then!

Directions:

Best route to I-684 N
Take the NY-116 exit, EXIT 7, toward Purdys/Somers.
Then under 1/4 mile
Turn left onto Mid Way/NY-116.  Continue to follow NY-116.
Then about 1.4 mile
Turn right onto Somerstown Turnpike/US-202 E/NY-100.
Somerstown Turnpike is just past Deans Bridge Rd

If you are on Somerstown Turnpike and reach Scott Dr you've gone about 0.2 miles too far

Then 1.68 miles
Turn left onto County Hwy-35/Stoneleigh Ave.
County Hwy-35 is just past Croton Falls Rd

If you reach Route 22 you've gone a little too far

Then 4.64 miles
Turn left onto Route 6/US-6 W.
Then 0.80 miles
Stay straight to go onto S Gleneida Ave/NY-52.
Then 0.28 miles
Take the 1st left onto Route 301/NY-301.  Continue to follow NY-301.
If you are on Gleneida Ave and reach Fair St you've gone a little too far

Then 1 1/4 miles
Turn right onto Gipsy Trail Rd/County Hwy-41.
Gipsy Trail Rd is 0.3 miles past Belden Rd

If you reach Hickory Nut Hill Rd you've gone a little too far

Then just under a 1 mile

201 Gipsy Trail Rd, Carmel, NY 10512-4359, 201 GIPSY TRAIL RD is on the left.
Your destination is just past Nichols St
