COVID-19 Statement

The East Kingdom and the event staff are committed to making sure that our friends & families stay safe. Kingdom guidelines for COVID safety change often. Masks that conform to CDC standards and worn properly over the nose and mouth are required of all attendees over the age of 2 in all indoor spaces or in public tents or pop-ups with 3 or 4 walls up and may only be lowered briefly for eating or drinking. Masks are optional when outdoors and we encourage frequent handwashing and social distancing. Please take whatever steps you feel are necessary for your own sense of safety beyond the stated mandates.

All persons over the age of 5 are now required to show proof of vaccination or negative COVID test taken within 72 hours of the event. All persons over the age of 18 must also present government issued photo ID or a valid SCA membership card. Please have these in hand when checking in.

Although the SCA complies with all applicable laws to ensure the health and safety of our event participants, we cannot eliminate the risk of exposure to infectious diseases during in-person events. By participating in the in-person events of the SCA, you acknowledge and accept the potential risks. You agree to take any additional steps to protect your own health and safety and those under your control as you believe to be necessary.

Event details

St.  Andrew travels to the city of seven hills to attend the investiture of our new Baron and Baroness.  Our feastocrat, Monkey Makgee, has created a roman inspired dayboard and feast that will satisfy all who attend. 

A multitude of martial activities and childrens' activities are planned.  Our Barony will be choosing our next Heavy Weapons Champion and a tournament will determine who they may be.  All fighters are invited to participate. 

Martial Activities will include Fencing, Archery, Thrown Weapons, and Heavy List.  Planned children's activities include a Making Mosaics, Building Rota Boards and learning to play Rota, and a Temple-based scavenger hunt.  This is a camping event and fires will be allowed, weather permitting.  Go to event website for details.

Long Island Estonian House is located 65 miles east of NYC in Middle Island, New York, north of NY Route 25.

From the West:  Take your best route to the Long Island Expwy (I-495) east, to Exit 64 North (NY-112) towards Port Jefferson.  Drive for 3.2 miles, then turn right onto Middle Country Rd.  (NY Rt.  25) for .03 miles and jog left onto Mt.  Sinai Coram Rd.  for 2.2 miles.  Turn right onto Whiskey Rd.  for 1 mile.  Then turn right onto Middle Island Blvd.  The entrance to Estonian House will be on your right.

From the East:  Take the Long Island Expwy.  to Exit 68 North (William Floyd Pkwy.--CR 46) to Middle Country Rd.  (NY Rt.  25).  Turn left and travel on NY Rt.  25 for 4.7 miles.  Turn right onto Church Lane, then take your third right onto Lake Terrace.  Turn left onto Middle Island Blvd.  The entrance to Estonian House will be on your left.
