As time turns, we find ourselves in the season of birth and regrowth.  And, as the butterfly breaks free from its cocoon to flourish in its new found beauty so shall the newly proclaimed Shire of Midland Vale!  Come share in the merriment that is our most recent accomplishment at our 2nd Annual Tourney of the Daffodils this April 23rd, 2016.
Allow your heart to gather among the peers of its ilk in merriment and ferocious tournament!  Feast your eyes on the items within' our infamous silent auction, or indulge your taste buds with our renown dayboard.  Their will be joy and entertainment for all of the glorious populace at this day of revelry!

In lieu of a feast we present an exquisite, all day Day Board.  Please enjoy the sumptuous delicacies brought to you by our own Lord Piers Campbell.  These delights include:

Smoked Ham
Beef Stew of a Bourginion style
Cranberry Panetone Bread withHoney Butter
Assorted Cheeses
Salat with Garlic Vinegrette
Vegetable Stir Fry
Red Cabbage with Green Apples
Whitebot Pudding for Dessert(Rice Pudding). 

Heavy Combat:
The main activity will be our Tourney of Daffodils, it is in honor of Spring and the St.  Catherine.  We would like to stress that this Tourney will be ideal for novice fighters as well as members of Chivalry.  Please check out our website to find out more details on the fighting.

Fencing Combat:
We are pleased to announce that their will be a fencing marshal on staff and willing to hold a fencing tournament for those of you quick of dexterity and keen on coordination.  Please stay tuned as to the tournament style in which you will take part in.
Youth Combat:
We will also host a youth combat tourney.  Our Youth Combat Marshal will have gear for those who are interested is fighting, if they do not have their own.

Family Activities:
We shall have many craft oriented and outdoor activities planned.  All children must be properly supervised at all times.

Arts and Sciences:
There will be a display set up during the day.  Please feel free to contribute to the display.  There will be a bardic circle in the afternoon.

We hope you choose to join us on our day to share in the fun and joy of our new Shire.

The site is pet friendly, though please be sure any pets have proper tags and waste is disposed of properly.

The site is a park and does not have a water supply available.  The cooks will be bringing in 55 gallon drums of fresh potable water for cooking and drinking.

The shire will be hosting the Second Annual, Lady Patricia of the Tangled Wyldes Memorial Auction.  The silent auction will see, amongst other things, the personal fabric collection of our late Lady Patricia dispersed unto the populace and will run throughout the day, ending at 4:00 PM.  Payment is due at the end of the auction.

Partial toll road

Follow signs for Interstate 84 W/Stewart Airport/Scranton and merge onto I-84 West

Take exit 120 for NY-211 toward Middletown/Montgomery

Continue on NY-211 W.  Drive to Lake Ave in Middletown

Registration Fees

Site:  $12 and includes the Dayboard.
Under 18:  $6.00
5 and under:  Free
Additional $5 adult non-member surcharge applies.
Family cap of $36.00, not including adult non-member surcharge, as applicable.

There is no deadline to pre-register, but to help make sure we have enough food for the Dayboard we ask if possible to please do so.  Anyone with special needs please feel free to contact the Head Cook or Event Steward.
