Walpurgisnacht at Stonebridge Gambol House III

Hosted by Barony of the Bridge - Coventry, RI

Event date: April 29th, 2016 - May 1st, 2016

Event Last Modified: December 12th, 2015

Event details

Stonebridge Gambol House is having a weekend-long party in celebration of the Feast of Saint Walpurgis.  There will be lots of music, lots of dancing, lots of games, and more than enough food served as a continuously-replenished dayboard, prepared by a collection of the finest kitcheners from throughout the East Kingdom and beyond.

For dancers we offer the opportunity to dance, without interruption, from Friday evening until Sunday morning.  If you have a new dance you want to share, come prepared to teach it.  If you have a dance you would like to perform, come ready to perform it.

For musicians we offer the opportunity to play dance music, as much as you can stand, as well as plenty of room to gather with other musicians and play for pure enjoyment.

For cooks we offer the opportunity to demonstrate your skills in a fun and low pressure atmosphere to a very appreciative audience.  This is a chance to cook your favorite dishes, or try out the dish that you’ve always wanted to cook, without the stress of having to plan or prepare an entire feast.  A weekend of playing in the kitchen with others who share your passion.

For everyone we offer cabin space, room for gaming, as well as a variety of dishes both sweet and savory starting Friday night and culminating in a farewell breakfast on Sunday morning.

Gate will open on Friday evening at 5 PM for Weekend guests.

On Saturday, gate will open at 10 AM and close at 6 PM.

Stonebridge Gambol House can accommodate a finite number of guests, so the number of weekend spaces will be limited.  To ensure the hall is not too crowded for dancing, the number of day trip spaces will be limited as well.  Be sure to send in your reservation early, or check back as the date approaches to find out if any spaces are left.

Weekend site fee includes admission to the event, a space in a cabin or room for your tent, and food for the entire weekend.

Day trip fee includes admission to the event on Saturday from 10 AM until Midnight (more or less), and food for the day.

The cabins each have six bunks.  Those staying in cabins should bring bedding/sleeping bags.

The site features showers and indoor restrooms.

The site is wet.

Don't forget to bring your favorite card/board games.

We will accept Canadian cash at par.  We cannot accept foreign checks.
