Come join the incipient Shire of Midland Vale and our sponsor, the Shire of Coil Tuar, to celebrate our first event!

We have a fantastic day planned.  Everything from ferocious endeavours of fighting, food of high caliber, festive displays of the arts, to fine classes for both the youth and the young at heart. 

We will even have some frivolous fripperies of prizes to be awarded for feats of martial might.

Dayboard:
In lieu of a feast we present an exquisite, all day Day Board.  Created by our own Lord Alasdair Campbell, our Veteran Cook, his amazing skills at the grill will tantalize your tastebuds!

Heavy Combat:
The main activity will be our Tourney of Daffodils, it is in honor of Spring and the St.  Catherine.  We would like to stress that this Tourney will be ideal for novice fighters as well as members of Chivalry.  We will also have a few planned melees, some with a historical twist and others for just darn fun.  See the details here.  http://midlandvale.eastkingdom.org/tournament-draft-outlines/

We also plan to have some lessons from some of the Members of Chivalry that are attending.  We will update that information on our site when we get confirmations.  If interested in doing a lesson please contact the Event Stewart.

Youth Combat:
We will also host a youth combat tourney.  Our Youth Combat Marshal will have gear for those who are interested is fighting, if they do not have their own.

Family Activities:
Chancellor Minor has many craft oriented and outdoor activities planned.

Arts and Sciences:
There will be a display set up during the day.  Please feel free to contribute to the display.  There will be a bardic circle in the afternoon.

We hope you choose to join us on our day to share in the fun and joy of our new Shire.

The site is pet friendly, though please be sure any pets have proper tags and waste is disposed of properly.

The site is a park and does not have a water supply available.  The cooks will be bringing in 55 gallon drums of fresh potable water for cooking and drinking.

We would also like to announce that the we will be hosting the Lady Patricia of the Tangled Wyldes Memorial Auction at our event.  The silent auction will see, amongst other things, the personal garb collection of our late Lady Patricia dispersed unto the populace and will run throughout the day, ending at 4:00PM, shortly before court begins.  All proceeds for the auction will go to support the incipient Shire of Midland Vales.  https://www.facebook.com/events/644673382343027/

Registration Fees

Registration:
Site:  $12 and includes the Dayboard.
Under 18:  $6.00
5 and under:  Free
Additional $5 adult non-member surcharge applies.
Family cap of $36.00, not including adult non-member surcharge, as applicable.

Feast:
There is no deadline to pre-register, but to help make sure we have enough food for the Dayboard we ask if possible to please do so.  Anyone with special needs please feel free to contact Feastocrat or Event Steward.
