The Barony of Settmour Swamp welcomes one and all to celebrate or 20th anniversary with a weekend of camping and something for everyone to enjoy.  For those who crave battle bring along your armor, sword, and shield for the fighting events.  For those who enjoy shooting and throwing bring your bow and arrows as well as axes and knives for the archery and throwing events.Fencing events will also be taking place this year.  These events will be going on all weekend.  There will be a baronial champion chosen for for the fighting and throwing events.  We will be holding a brewing contest for beer, wines, and cordials.
By now you must be wondering about the Quest XVIII theme listed in the title, "Mother Goose Eats Borscht".  Well, the theme of the quest is Russian fairy tales and is going to be very fun and challanging.
Food will be served on the weekend for breakfast for a very reasonable price.  Also on the weekend a great feast will be served.
The site is damp:  you may bring beer, wine, and mead but no distilled alchohol.  There will be no running water onsite so we ask you to bring your own.  There will be porta-castles onsite as well as a big dumpster.  The county asks that you recycle all bottles, cans, and paper-please use the recycling containers provided or bring your empties home.  We ask that you keep an eye on your children while on site.  Pets are welcome but must be picked up after.  There will be a central fire pit for socializing.
Merchants are welcome, there is no charge for space but you must supply your own table.

Directions:

Take Rt 206 to County Rd 514 [Amwell Rd] in Hillsbough NJ.  If you are coming from the north, turn Rt onto Rt 514.  If you are coming from the south make a left.  Stay on Rt 514 for about 8 miles untill you come to a 3-way intersection at a large white Church.Turn right onto Rt 567 [River Rd].  A mile or so down the road turn left and go across a white metal girder bridge [Elm St].  The site is just across the bridge on the right.  Rt 206 can bereached from Routes 287 and 22 from the north, and from Routes 95,295, and 195 from the south.

Registration Fees

Registration:
$8.00 a day for adults [14+].  $4.00 for children [3-13].  Under 3 are free.  Special deal,come all 3 days [friday,saterday,and sunday] and save $3.00.  Monday is free.  The feast will cost $6.00 extra.  Checks should be made out to SCA Barony of Settmour Swamp.  Please include SCA and mundane names of all those attending.
