Rejoice, worthy subjects of the Eastern Kingdom rejoice!  For Coronation draws near.  Let fly the banners, let sound the trumpets!  Let there be music and dancing, tournaments of heavy and light, feasting and revelry.  Come good gentles and make merry for this day shall be remembered and ye who stay a-bed and slept or worked and came not on St.  Remigius day to pay witness and see with thine own eyes the Crowning of the mighty Prince Gregor shall think yourselves accursd that you were not present.

ARTS AND SCIENCES:  Artisans of the East, bring forth your Arts and Sciences projects for there will be display tables available from 12:30 until 5 in the main hall whereby our skilled populace may so honor our new King and Queen with their fine works.  Contact Baronne Jehannine de Flandres ( or Lady Constanza Maria Colonna ( with questions.

The Challenge:  To create a piece of embroidery inspired by or for our beloved Queen Kiena.
Materials, Designs and Sundries:  Kits, materials and designs for Queen's favors, Queen's Order of Courtesy roses and other small projects will be available at the event.  Challengers are also welcome to create their own designs and items for themselves, using any form and materials they wish as long as the item is started at the event.  Items do not need to be completed to be entered in the challenge.
Categories:  The challenge will be divided into 3 categories:  children, novice and artisan levels.
Time:  Materials and forms will be available immediately after the first court of TRM Gregor and Kiena Judging will begin at approximately 4:30 pm, with the winners to be announced at Feast.

TOURNAMENT:  Do ye sharpen your prowess, polish your helm, unfurl your banner and bring your herald and squires for their highnesses would delight in your display upon the list field in a right noble passage of arms as hosted by Master Geoffrey the Younger.  Details:

Show off your sword skills at the Coronation fencing prize tourney.  Fence three passes in rotating weapons forms against each opponent in a double elimination tournament.  Beware not to step over the edge of the list, else the pass will go to your rival.  Their incoming Majesties may invoke their royal privilege to assign fencing forms to the combatants of their choice.  Marvelous prizes will be at hand for the victors.  brought forth by Don Orlando Sforza.

Their Highnesses will be Sitting in State at the listfields during the tournaments.

COURT:  Last Court will begin at 10:30am.  Coronation ceremony immediately following, First Court immediately following.Their Highnesses wish First Court to be held early that their subjects may have time this day to play be it tournament, arts, sciences, dancing or come what may.

FEAST:  A fine dayboard presented by Lady Vivienne Dunbar will be followed by a feast with savory courses presented for the pleasure of the populace and peers of the realm.  The finalized menu will be available forthwith.  If you have any dietary concerns please do not hesitate to contact the cook, Lady Charis, she will try to accommodate.

A limited amount of off-board seating will be available - that is table space in the feast hall during the feast but bread and water only.

Please bring enclosed candles to light your table.

MERCHANTS:  There is still a few indoor merchant spaces available at this event, but hurry as we are filling up fast.  Preference on vending space will be given to those merchants who handmake period products for SCA use.  To apply please email or call our merchant liaison, THL Owynn Greenwood ( or 908-447-2979).  Please call between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM.  He will need the following information:
1.  your name, phone numbers, mailing address and email address,
2.  the name of your business,
3.  the type and nature of your merchandise,
4.  non-refundable $10 merchant fee,

From the Garden State Parkway: 
Take exit 145 to Route 280 WEST.  Go to exit 6 for Laurel Ave.  Turn right at the top of the ramp, Laurel Ave becomes Shrewsbury.  At the light, turn left onto Rt 10, Mount Pleasant Ave The site will be on your left. 
From Route 287:  Take the exit for Route 80 EAST Follow Route 80 EAST, continuing on to Route 280 EAST, to Exit 6 for Laurel Ave.  Turn right at the top of the ramp, Laurel Ave becomes Shrewsbury.  At the light, turn left onto Rt 10, Mount Pleasant Ave The site will be on your left. 

Public Transportation:  N.J.  Transit has Bus service from Newark Penn Station that travels along Route 10 in Livingston and can stop near the site.  Consult for updated information on service and schedules.

PLEASE INCLUDE:  The names, mundane and SCAdian of ALL members of your party, contact information (address and phone number) of the person making the reservation, and membership information (proof of membership or indicate that you are not a member) for each person included in the reservation.  Acceptable proof of membership includes a copy of your membership card, a current Pikestaff label with your name on it, or the proof of membership letter from the SCA web site. 

Also please indicate which members of your party are minors and age of each minor. 

Incomplete reservations will be returned.

Reservation Refund policy: 
If, after sending in a reservation, you are unable to attend please contact the reservations clerk before the event.  Site fees will be refunded after the event.  Feast fees will be refunded if we are able to resell your feast space.  Troll will close promptly at 5. 

Unclaimed feast reservations will be sold off to a waiting list if there is one when troll closes.  If you plan on arriving late please let the reservations clerk know. 

Children are always welcome but we ask you to please supervise your children at all times.  Anyone under the age of eighteen who is not with a parent must be accompanied by an adult and must present a consent form signed by a parent which includes contact information for the parents.  If a minor does not have a blue SCA membership card then a minor waiver signed by a parent or guardian must be presented at troll.  Copies of the minor waiver form are available on-line at and will be available at the event
