December 16th, 2024 — Spring Crown Tournament Announcement from TRH

The populace of the East has spoken! We have reviewed the results from our Kingdom’s most recent poll, and as there is consistent, overwhelming support to conduct the crown weapons form experiment, the road that lies before us is clear. So it is that We are proud to announce that when We hold the Crown Tournament to select Our Heirs in the Spring, We will do so using rapier form weapons as the convention of the list.

We appreciate everyone who took the time to respond to the surveys, and after reading through the comments left by all, We are confident that this Kingdom is ready to move forward with the opportunity entrusted to us by the Society. This is a historic moment for the Dream and the East alike, and as always, our proud kingdom stands ready to meet the challenge with unwavering courage, tenacity, ingenuity, and acceptance, because this is who we are.
Looking ahead to Crown Tournament in May, We would also take this moment to encourage local groups putting bid packages together to prepare for a larger-than-usual event. We expect that many will want to enter the list, and many more will want to bear witness to the day. Block rates with hotels and proximity to train stations and airports should be considered in your proposals (which are due by January 1.)

We have much to look forward to in the new year. May fortune and glory shine upon you all as the sun Rises in the East.
